MRS. ANNIE "LOUISE" TURNER MINGGIA was born to the late Thomas Turner and Hannah Robinson Turner on August 23, 1937, in Warren County, North Carolina. She transitioned from this earthly life to her heavenly home on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at her home in Littleton, North Carolina, with her loving family by her side.

During her early life, Annie accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and became a member of the Mt. Gilliam Baptist Church in Littleton, North Carolina. She attended her church faithfully, was active with the Missionary Circle, and enjoyed cooking for her church.

Annie received her formal education in the Warren County Public School System. She became employed with the former WestPoint "JP Stevens" and Company in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, and retired on March 2, 1998, after twenty-eight years of loyal service.

Annie met the love of her life, William Claude "Love" Minggia, and they were united in marriage in November 1954. They were blessed with three wonderful children, Rebecca, Willliam, and Deborah.

Annie had a great passion for cooking and was well-known for her delicious potato salad, sweet potato pies, homemade chocolate cake, and all other "sweet-goodies" she prepared. Gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family also brought her much joy.

In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her husband, William Claude "Love" Minggia; one daughter, Deborah "Gail" Minggia-Robinson; one sister, Viola Ellis; two brothers, Thomas and James Turner; one granddaughter, Millicent Janelle Daniels; and one daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Minggia.

Those remaining to forever share the treasured memories of her life and love are her daughter, Rebecca M. Phillips (Michael) of Rocky Mount, NC; her son, William L. Minggia of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her grandson, whom she reared as her own, Anthony D. Minggia (Georgeanna) of Littleton, NC; her grandchildren: Randy Daniels (Shonda) of Denver, CO, Scherrie Edwards (Marcelino), Sasha Minggia, Crissy Minggia, Daquan Minggia, Tanieka Mallety (Ra'Quis), Daqualah Minggia, and Brandon Phillips, all of North Carolina; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A viewing will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home, 215 US Highway 158, Littleton, NC. A graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the Mount Gilliam Baptist Church Cemetery, 3606 Roper Springs Road, Littleton, NC. Rev. Charles W. Faulcon will deliver the message of comfort.
