Mrs. Annie B. Reasonover was born on March 21, 1923 to the union of the late Pearl and Richard Batey in Nashville, Tennessee. She joined her heavenly family on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at her daughter’s residence in Nashville, Tennessee. Annie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was united with Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. She was a spiritual and loving person.
Annie was educated in the Nashville public school system. Annie married the love of her life, Roland B. Reasonover on October 14, 1947.
Annie was employed by Horace Small MFG. Company many years until retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and watching sports on television.
She was also an avid walker, loving the outdoors and taking in the scenery as she passed. Annie was preceded in death by her parents Pearl and Richard Batey; husband Roland Reasonover; sister Janie Phillips, daughter Loretta Clerkley; son Dwight Batey; stepdad Dave Stovall.
Those left to cherish her memories are daughters Brenda (Clifton) Peoples-Gordon and Roslyn Williams. Four grandchildren Traci (Clayton) Smith, Eric S. Williams, LeRoyal Bernard Peoples, Dwight Carlos Batey, Jr; six greatgrandchildren TaMichael Hawkins, D’Meyne Smith, Tajah (Edward) Smith, James Peoples, LeRoyal Peoples, Eric S. Williams Jr, one great great grandchild Harmony Hawkins, one daughter-in-law Dorothy Batey, one sister-in-law Deborah Reasonover, special friends James Kelley, Jackie Cooper, David Kropp.
