Annie Ward Sasser, 101, left this earth for her eternal home in heaven on Friday, January 10, 2025. Loving life, her family and friends, she stayed as long as she could. She was born on October 17, 1923.
Annie was well known and loved by her family and friends. She maintained an interest in farming all her life. (And boy could she put a spread on the table!) She was a follower of Jesus Christ her Savior and was a faithful member of Lisbon Baptist Church since 1950.
She is survived by sons Harold Dean (Dot), Elroy (Marilyn), Eddie (Pam), daughters Judy Lang (Bill), and Annette Bell (David), daughter-in-law, Juanita Sasser, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She also had many nieces and nephews, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Herbert Sasser, her son Harvey, grandsons Jeff Sasser and Brandon Sasser, and great-grandson Jason Knight.
She was also predeceased by parents Charlie and Orrie Ellen Ward and 10 siblings.
On Wednesday, January 15, 2025 funeral services will be held at 2:30pm at Lisbon Baptist Church. Visitation with family and friends will be prior to the funeral from 1:00pm-2:15pm.
