Anthina “Tina” Dimovski, 61, of Manlius, passed away peacefully on Thursday at Upstate University Hospital. Born in Syracuse, Tina graduated from DeVillo Sloan High School in 1985. She worked at Monarch for several years before joining the ARC Day Habilitation program, where she enjoyed participating in community activities and building lasting friendships.
Known lovingly by her family and friends as “Tina,” she had a vibrant spirit and a warm heart. She enjoyed outings with her housemates at ARC of Onondaga, listening to music, playing handheld video games, chatting on the phone with her sister and brother-in-law, visiting with her brother, and relaxing while watching her favorite TV shows.
Tina’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Delphine Corradino, former House Director at ARC of Onondaga, for being a “surrogate mom” to Tina and providing her with unwavering love and care as well as to the current House Director, Gregory Jones. Special thanks also go to the Elmbrook staff, who surrounded her with compassion after the passing of her parents, and to Theresa Ashmore, Service Coordinator with Central New York DDSO, for her dedication to ensuring that Tina’s needs were always met.
Tina was predeceased by her parents, George and Finka Dimovski.
Surviving are her sister, Katheryn (Steven) Goldman of Sloatsburg; brother, Spase Dimovski of Camillus; nephews, Samuel and William Goldman; nieces, Jacquelyn and Jayne Goldman; great-nephew, Cameron Goldman; uncle, Krste (Trena) Dimovski of Liverpool; and cousins, Jim Dimovski of Liverpool, Anna (Greg) Nederveled and their children, all of North Syracuse, Peter (Neda) Spasevski and his children, all of Syracuse, and Voncho (Sandy) Spasevski of Baldwinsville.
A funeral service will be held Monday, October 20, 2025, at 10 a.m. in St. George Macedonian Orthodox Church, 5083 Onondaga Rd., Syracuse.
Tina will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Arc of Onondaga, 600 S. Wilbur Ave., Syracuse, NY 13204-2730.
