Anthony Charles Barbera

Anthony Charles Barbera, 46, of Hampstead, Maryland, passed away on October 10, 2025. Born on November 14, 1978, Anthony was the beloved son of Charles and the late Susan Barbera. Known to family and friends as Tony, he graduated from North Carroll High School, where he was a three-letter athlete in football, lacrosse, and wrestling. He went on to become a highly decorated Philadelphia Police Officer, dedicating over fifteen years to the 22nd and 1st Districts. Tony absolutely cherished his work helping others, and regularly went above and beyond the call of duty. Tony was a Master Mason of Thomas R. Paton Lodge No. 659, a skilled carpenter, certified scuba diver, and avid world traveler. Above all, he was completely devoted to his family and fiercely loyal to his friends. He is survived by his wife, Laura, and their daughter, Riley; his father, Charles; and his sister, Tiffiny. He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on November 15, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church in Westminster, Maryland with a reception to follow.
