Anthony Mark Bartole passed away peacefully at his home on April 6th, 2023, of natural causes. Born in Bismarck April 9th, 1962 to Lawrence and Ann (Richau) Bartole, he lived here all of his life, graduating from BHS. After a year and a half in the National Guard, Tony's skills enabled him to hold multiple jobs in many area businesses. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, cheering for them during winning and losing seasons.
For the last two years, Tony was the custodial employee of First Presbyterian Church of Bismarck. There he endeared himself to staff and membership with his eye for details, conscientious care, friendly disposition, and corny jokes. While on the job, he greeted and welcomed individuals to the church and made his rounds to the offices for pleasant conversation; the children delighted in calling out his name when they saw him. He will be dearly missed by the congregation.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Ann, his sister, Leann, and his brother, Michael. He leaves behind his nephews, Jesse Bartole (Racheal Forrest) and Joseph (Joey) Bartole (Tiffany) and his niece, Chaneen.
