Anthony L. Britanak

Anthony T.!Britanak, 71, of Laurence Harbor, NJ passed away Friday, November 28th, at Complete Care at Madison Center,. Anthony was born in Red Bank, New Jersey on April 24, 1954, a son of the late Claire L (Marmone)) and Joseph P. Britanak. He worked as a telecom specialist at Bell Labs, AT&T and Lucent Technologies in Holmdel, N.J., owned Flowers on Main in Asbury Park and had various other ventures 1 being buying and restoring older homes. Anthony, known as Tony to his friends, was an active member in his community taking great pride in everything he did to help beautify the environment and assist those in need until his illness in February, 2000.
Anthony is survived by his siblings, brother Joseph P. Britanak Jr. and wife Joanna, brother Thomas J. Britanak, sister Jo-Ann Grimaldi and husband Mike, nephews and nieces, Joseph J. Britanak and wife Kim, Jeremy D. Britanak and wife Janet, Rhea and husband Jack Emanuele, Louis R. Grimaldi and wife Lena, Michael J. Grimaldi and wife Zully, Anthony T. Grimaldi and fiancé Courtney McQuade and Victoria Grimaldi along with great nephews and nieces, Nicholas and Aithan, Jaylin and Jaxon, Adelyn and Abigail.
Visitation will be Monday 3-7 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday 10am at St. Lawrence RCC. Entombment to follow at Holmdel Cemetery To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Anthony, please visit our floral store.
