Anthony Brown

ANTHONY BROWN was born in Richland County, South Carolina on March 31,1958 to the late Mr. William and Anetha Bell Brown who preceded him in death. Anthony departed this life on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville,
New Jersey.
After graduating high school, Anthony relocated to New Jersey. In 1995 he met Marlene Foster, and they were married in August 2004.
Although the presence of a loved one of twenty-nine years is no more, memories will be cherished by his wife Marlene Foster-Brown of East Orange, NJ. Anthony is survived by his brothers Joe Cato and Raymond Brown, his sisters Margaret Wilson (Alfred), Gwendolyn B. Jeffers (Jimmy) and Lettie Gail Brown all of Gaston, South Carolina. His daughters Connie, Mariah, Devonia and her husband Insan, grandson Isaiah and beloved great-grandson Tristan. Uncle Frank Dowdy and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Anthony was preceded in passing by three brothers: William Brown, Jr., Malverse "Wolfe" Brown and Johnny Brown.
Anthony was better known for his love of "classic cars" mainly his 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass before being employed to deliver/transfer autos by several rental car agencies such as Dollar Rental, Hertz and Avis. He retired in 2020.
