Anthony Joesph Buzzi, born on August 22, 1962, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends beside him on January 13, 2025.
Anthony grew up in Bronx, New York where he was surrounded by a tight knit family - aunts, uncles, parents, and his sister, Linda. Once he met and married his wife, Veronica, they moved to Stamford, Connecticut where they had their son, Leo. Besides being a proud and great father, he was an amazing husband, uncle, cousin, friend, and mentor to many others. Anthony was also the beloved son of Eros and Christine Buzzi.
Known for his generosity, Anthony was known for putting others before himself, and making sure he did the right thing. As his buddy, Brian, stated, "When Buzz walked into a room he filled it with his heart, his kindness, and his laughter."
His personality was larger than life. You knew that you were in the presence of someone special when you saw Anthony. He always lit up a room by just being there. No matter who you were, Anthony would always treat you the same and with respect. He was the kind of guy that everyone strives to be.
Anthony left behind a beloved family, friends, and companions. His wife, Veronica, son, Leo, and many other family members mourn Anthony's death. May his spirit rest easy and may his honor be remembered.
Friends and family are welcome from 4pm to 8pm on Friday, January 17th, at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave, Stamford, CT for final visitations. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday, January 18th at The Church of St Cecilia, 1185 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT. Burial will follow at St Mary/Putnam Cemetery, 35 Parsonage Road, Greenwich, CT.

Robert Bastone.

My condolences to the Buzzi Family and all who knew him. We grew up together in the same Bronx neighborhood but became friends while he was at Morgan Stanley. Smart, dedicated and a great problem solver. May the good Lord shine perpetual light on you.
Amen

I'm not sure I can think of a time when Buzz didn't make me laugh or smile. Anthony was an exceptional person. He had the ability to light up a room, put anyone at ease, and make anyone who was ever in his presence grateful for the gift of that experience. He adored his wife, his son Leo, his family, and his friends. May perpetual light shine upon him.
