Anthony Francis Cavaliere

Anthony (Tony) Francis Cavaliere, 71 years old, a native of Brooklyn, NY, residing in Pawleys Island, died on December 27, 2024 at home.
Born on October 2, 1953, he was the son of Nancy and John Cavaliere. He was preceded in death by his parents and younger son, Christopher.
Tony was a retired sanitation worker with the Department of Sanitation of New York. He loved to play golf and his guitars, walk the beach, swim in the ocean, and create beautiful furniture in his woodshop. Tony took pride in being meticulous and precise in his work. He loved listening to his favorite blues artists.
Tony is survived by his wife, Randy Berne Cavaliere of his home; his daughter, Jacqueline Cavaliere Klein, son-in-law, Jonathan Klein, and son, John Cavaliere of Staten Island, NY; his stepdaughter Ilene Schneider Onieal and son-in-law James Onieal of Columbus OH; his stepson Avery Schneider, daughter-in-law Christina Serio and beloved grandson, Reese William Schneider of Buffalo, NY, sisters Donna DeSilva of Pawleys Island, Judy Guerin of Moriches, NY and Nancy Cavaliere of Brooklyn, NY.
He leaves a legacy of kindness, selflessness, and devotion to his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a true friend to all who knew him. His greatest pleasure was to be with his wife and children and his grandson brought special joy to his life. Tony was a humble man who had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and his beautiful smile lit up a room. He will be missed by his extended family and many, many friends.
A graveside funeral service and burial will be held at Beth Elohim Cemetery in Georgetown at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 2, 2025, with family friends Richard Dimentstein and Andrew Friedman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The Downtown Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
