Anthony B. Conlin

Anthony B. Conlin – 86, of Mays Landing passed away Monday, December 8, 2025. Born January 2, 1939 and raised in Philadelphia, PA, he grew up in East Oak Lane. He is predeceased by his wife Eileen P. Conlin (nee Sweeney), infant son Anthony, father and mother, Howard and Elsie (Yorke) Conlin, siblings Joe (Mary) Conlin, Cecelia (Joe) DiGiacomo, and Thomas Williams. He attended Holy Angels Catholic School and graduated Roman Catholic High School in 1957. Anthony, known to all as "Doc", married his wife Eileen in May of 1962. Together they created a loving home for their family. Doc is survived by daughter Eileen (Bob) Mullin of Linwood, sons John Conlin of Gibbstown and Anthony P. Conlin of Annapolis, MD, and grandchildren Kaitlyn and Frank Mullin. He is survived by three sisters, Marianne (Dolph) VanThuyne, Catherine Ebert, and Margaret Mary Gaunt. Doc was a skilled craftsman who could make anything out of wood. After completing his apprenticeship with the Philadelphia Carpenters Union in 1962, he worked as a carpenter in many capacities until his retirement in 2003. His passion for woodworking continued throughout his retirement. He enjoyed many hours in his garage workshop, where his projects ranged from chainsaw carvings to furniture. Doc was a hard worker who taught his family the value of a job well done. He will be remembered by all for his sense of humor and was always ready with a joke to make someone smile. He loved this country and was proud to have travelled to all 50 states. He truly enjoyed the many winters he spent in Venice, FL. He was much loved and will be dearly missed. A Mass will be held at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Mays Landing on Friday, December 19th, at 11am. A visitation at the church will precede the service at 10:30am.
