Anthony John Dijoseph

Anthony John DiJoseph, Sr., 57, of Lincoln University passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. He was the husband of Mary Ann Cipolla DiJoseph with whom he shared 35 years of marriage. Born in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary Bove DiJoseph. A veteran, he served in the Delaware National Guard for 13 years. He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in West Grove, PA. A Life Member of the Avondale Fire Co., he was also a member of the West Grove Fire Co., the Italian American Club, and Swayne, Campbell, Testa VFW in Kennett Square, PA. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He was previously employed for 20 years as the General Manager of Kennett Beverage in Kennett Square, PA. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Anthony J. �A.J.� DiJoseph, Jr., and his wife, Jennifer of Landenberg, PA; one daughter, Melissa C. DiJoseph of Avondale, PA; two sisters, Patsy Vanderkraats of Avondale, PA; and Joanne M. DiJoseph of West Grove, PA. Friends may visit with the family from 6-9 pm on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at Foulk & Grieco Funeral Home, 200 Rose Hill Road, West Grove, PA 19390 and from 10-11 am on Friday, August 3, 2007 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 300 State Road, West Grove, PA. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday at the church. Interment will be in Saint Patrick Cemetery, North Union Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Avondale Fire Company Capital Campaign, 23 Fire House Way, Avondale, PA 19311.
