Anthony J Dzik

Anthony J. Dzik 72 of Commercial Point, Ohio and formerly of Portsmouth, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025 at Ohio Health Doctors West Hospital Columbus. He was born January 22, 1953 Chicago, IL to the late Joseph and Eva Julie (Falasz) Dzik. He retired as professor of Geography of 42 years from Shawnee State University. Tony enjoyed folk and folk rock music, ice hockey, and college football at the University of Toledo. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by Tina Dzik nee Miranda and Drema Dzik nee Daniel, stepdaughter Samantha Brock.
Survived by family Justin, Vincent, Brian, Sabrina, Jacob, Zack, Elijah, and Joseph. Proud pet father of Snazzy Kunuk.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 5th from 10:00a.m. until the time of Service at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church 4501 Hoover Rd. Grove City, Ohio 43123 with Rev. Pete Ray officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Burial Park Mausoleum in Wheelersburg, Ohio. Anthony's request in lieu of flowers that donations be sent to the Ohio American Eskimo Rescue.
