Anthony Easterling AKA Rock was one of my best friends. He was a very intelligent, talented, and funny person. In high school he performed in many talented show doing his Michael Jackson act which left the Lincoln High School auditorium begging for more. He moved down to the Forrest Street area with his family from up on the hill I believe Dwight Street which was where i met him first. He was always hard working as the paperboy on our block, loved by all our parents. Hanging out with Rock was always fun. He could play the dozens better than anyone, he would have you in stitches. After H.S. things happened in his life, he dealt with them and was still that same funny and loving person. I moved away but always tried to catch up with him when I visited JC. We would get together go for a drive sometimes or just stop and conversation. I had not seen him in a few years but I always asked about him or tried to catch him on Bergen Avenue. Rock you are and will always be my best friend and hold a very special place in me, my family, your friends, and every person's heart that you came in contact with. Rest in Heavenly Peace until we see each other in Heavens Upper room.
Love you Patrick Johnson
