Anthony “Ace” Edgeman of Shattuck OK, passed away unexpectedly on September 3, 2025 at the age of 54.

He was a caring person who was easy to talk to, a proud father, a good friend, and a true nomad and Viking at heart. Everyone knew him as Ace and he couldn't go anywhere without striking up a conversation with somebody.

Ace was born to Karen Carlene Simpson and David McCoy Edgmon on May 1, 1971 in San Leandro, California. He grew up with his siblings in California. He fathered 4 children, David Edgmon, Anthony David Edgmon II, Alexis Edgmon, and Wyatt Edgmon. In 2012, he went back to marry the love of his life, Tina Kennedy with whom he lived until his passing, and became a father once again, this time to two step sons, Brandon Harrington and Benjamin Mayo.

Anthony was a Lance Corporal of the USMC until his discharge in the early nineties. He went on to attain a bachelor in fire science from the University of Arkansas. He became a firefighter in Wichita Kansas until 2009. He was also a loving Uncle, grandfather, and friend to many people in many places. During his life, Ace lived in California, Washington, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Texas, and Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents named above, and his grandparents. He is survived by his wife Tina Kennedy of Shattuck OK, children David And wife Paige of Okinawa Japan, Anthony Edgmon of Alva OK, Alexis Edgmon, partner Tyler and their child Journeigh of Missouri and wyatt Edgemon of Missouri, stepsons Brandon Harrington and partner Alicia his children Harmony and Molly, and Benjamin mayo and children Hailey and serenity, and a sister Susan and spouse Keith Carpenter and their daughter Lilli of Everton Arkansas.

Anthony Edgemon touched the lives of many and will be missed tremendously. He will be remembered for his generosity, and his love and dedication to his family and community. We will always carry the memories of him in our hearts as we continue to reflect on the wonderful person he was.

A public celebration of life will be held at a later time. Details will be posted on his social media page.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in his memory to the VA’s veteran's crisis line.
