Obituary of Anthony H. Farina

Anthony Howard Farina, 86, of Vineland NJ, went home to be with the Lord on December 7, 2025. He passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by the family he dearly loved.

Born February 27, 1939, he was a lifelong resident of the City of Vineland. After high school, he joined the United States Navy and proudly served his country for 4 years. After the Navy, he returned to Vineland. He was employed at the Vineland Fireworks Factory and then Precision Electronic Glass. He retired from Precision Electronic Glass in 2006.

"Tony", as he was known by all, loved to be connected to the open sea. He loved fishing, water skiing and vacations on the beaches of Sea Isle. In the summer months, he loved tending to his yard. He loved weekend parties at his home shooting pool, throwing darts and playing cards. And whenever possible, he loved going on cruises.

More often than not, Tony was known as a "patriarch". He was the man who would paint your house, fix your plumbing, cook up a great meal and offer wisdom and kindness whenever needed. Above all else, he fiercely loved his wife of 48 years, his children and grandchildren. He was known as Uncle Tony and Pop to many as his great heart was open to loving all that he knew. He will be greatly missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann (Moss) Farina; daughter Kimberly (Leon) D'Ottavio; sister Mary Sue (Herbert) Wright; grandson Lee D'Ottavio and granddaughter Angela D'Ottavio; great granddaughter Savannah Rehm and great grandson Jerry Wooton. He is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Gertrude Granato; brothers Joseph and Howard Farina, sister Bernice Finizii; daughter Cheryl Erianne; granddaughter Chelsea Santiago and grandson Tommy Lee D'Ottavio.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Cancer research or to any organization that benefits Veterans. Donations may also be made to "Francesca Crisafulli, Trustee for Savannah Rehm, 2139 E. Chestnut Ave, Unit 19, Vineland, NJ. 08361."

A funeral home visitation will be held on Wednesday, December17th from 10am to 11am followed by a funeral service at 11am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Final disposition will be private.
