Anthony Ricardo Finch was born on January 6, 1968, in Boston, Massachusetts, to the
late Shirley Finch and Emerson Clarke.
Anthony departed this earthly life and went home to be with our Lord on July 30, 2025.
He received his education from Triton High School in Erwin, NC, graduating in 1989. He
was employed at Advance Concrete LLC in Garner, NC.
Anthony was baptized at a very young age.
He was a person of great strength and had a good sense of humor. He always wanted to go fishing
early every Monday morning. He also enjoyed cooking good spicy food—but most of all, he enjoyed
doing whatever he could for his son and family. He loved them with a passion like no other.
Anthony leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Kerky Finch; his children, Shauntrice Antoinette Finch,
Chayzan Lewis, and Jariel Anthony Finch; his siblings, Shedrick (Gladys) Finch of Pine Level, NC, and
Atyia (Euron) Kelly of Brockton, MA.
He is also survived by David Clarke, Alfred Clarke, and Michael Raines of Boston, MA, and
Andrew (Jackie) Atherley of Long Island, New York; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other
relatives, and friends.
Special people in his life include Milton Draughon, Marvin Chance Jr., Reggie Finch, and some
longtime fishing buddies—Johnny Thompson and Felix.
We are going to truly miss him.
