Anthony G. Flora

Anthony (aka Tony) Flora was born to Nicholas and the late Nancy Flora in Louisville, KY, on December 4th, 1963. Tony was an avid sports fan and very loyal to his teams, NY Giants, NY Mets, and the NY Rangers. He also enjoyed fishing and eating his favorite cuisine, Italian. Tony developed an interest in politics which led to his being passionate about the equal treatment of all people. He was in the class of 1980 from Jersey City's Ferris High School and went on to find his niche in Tech. He was employed at the Internal Revenue Service as a Computer Specialist, and he was a dedicated employee with high integrity.
Tony was blessed with a loving family of three siblings and his parents. Tony loved his family very much and cherished his time with them. Tony was a kind, compassionate soul who would do anything to make someone happy and to see a person smile. He was generous, loving, and had a heart of gold. Tony's first marriage with Robin was blessed with a son, Micheal. On June 20, 2015, he married Tessa. Tony was an integral part of his new family and loved them as much as they loved him. Tony enjoyed and shared Tessa's love of hosting, and he would make believe that she did too much but helped her in any way he could. He manned the BBQs in the summers and was well known for his famous weekend breakfasts that everyone enjoyed. He always ensured that all the guests and family had enough food, drink, and snacks; he wanted everyone to enjoy themselves in their home. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tease Tessa (aka Babe to him). Tony was a beloved husband, son, brother, father, uncle, friend, and Pop Pop. Tony loved his fur baby Bailey whom he rescued.
He departed this life on November 8th, 2022, and was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Flora, brother Richard Flora, and his precious four-legged buddy Bailey.
Anthony leaves to cherish fond memories his wife, Tessa Flora; his father, Nicholas Flora; his sister Cynthia and brother-in-law David Schumann, his brother Robert Flora, son Micheal Flora, stepson Alejandro Clark Jr., daughter-in-law Jessica Clark, granddaughter Celeste Clark. His nieces Nichole Schumann and Jennifer Deceglia, a nephew David Schumann Jr. and wife Christina; great-nieces Victoria, Sophia, Ella, and Alexandria Schumann, great-nephews Davy Schumann and Nolan Deceglia; brothers-in-law Gregory and Edward Herman, Richard Clarke, and Troy Bowers Sr., sisters-in-law Rhonda Herman, and Donna Bowers, and a host of other family and friends.
