Passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at the age of 51. Born September 25, 1974 to Tony and Deborah (Olsen) Franco in Lansing, Michigan. Affectionately known as Tony or "T-Dub," lived a vibrant and captivating life that left an imprint on the hearts of all who knew him. His jovial spirit, humorous movie quotes, and love for Tiger Woods' "TW" golf apparel - convinced it was specially made for him - displayed a charming blend of wit and style that made him unique. Although he amassed a collection of golf clubs and apparel, he never played the game, a quirk that added to his endearing personality.

Tony was a master of his craft, working as a skilled carpenter in both residential and commercial construction. His artistry and attention to detail were evident in every project he handled. He would be described by most as workaholic but his love for the job never overshadowed his passion for college sports. A devoted MSU Spartan fan, Anthony could often be found cheering on his favorite basketball and football team, and he had a special place in his heart for the Detroit Tigers and Lions. His love for sports was only eclipsed by his love for his children and grandchildren, the center of his universe, the essence of his joy. Tony was loved by many and will be missed dearly by all who remember him. Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Corey Franco; brother-in-law, Raul Hernandez, and his beloved nephew whom he had a special bond with, Elijah Nash.

Surviving are his daughters, Samantha (Marcus Kirksey) Franco, Analeigh (Nicolas Vergason) Franco; grandchildren, Avah Williams, Jayce Kirksey, Aria Kirksey; sisters, Katrina Hernandez, Kacee Franco; nieces and nephews, Victor Hernandez, Veronica Hernandez, Alyssa (Eliaz) Bell, Vincent Hernandez, Jeremiah Nash as well as many extended family and friends.

A casual funeral service will be held for Tony at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Skinner Funeral Home, 101 W. Jolly Rd. Lansing, MI 48910. Family will receive friends for visitation at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Family asks that attendees wear their favorite sports attire to the service, in honor of Tony.
