Celebrating the Life of Anthony Garrett

March 10, 1967 – February 7, 2026

Anthony Garrett, a devoted father, grandfather, and a man of the open road, passed away on February 7, 2026. Born in Columbus, Ohio, on March 9, 1967, Anthony was defined by his incredible work ethic. After earning his CDL, he found a true calling in long-haul trucking. He was a hard-working man who found peace and joy in driving across the country, seeing the beauty of the land from behind the wheel of his rig.

Passion & Pride

When he wasn't on the road, Anthony was a man of deep loyalties. He was a die-hard supporter of the Michigan Wolverines and a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Whether it was a Saturday in the Big House or a Cowboys Sunday, his energy and spirit were unmatched.

A Legacy of Love

Anthony's greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his children, who carry on his strength and character:

Anthony, Charlene, Keshon, Tiana, Kavasea, Jakaire, Akjuan, and Sirrsaiquan.

He was a doting grandfather to:

• Mylani, Maliyah, Makhari, Sophia Taylor, Dewayne Crawford, Amor Garrett, Braylon, Ja'kaira Garrett, Olivia, and Miracle.

Family & Brotherhood

Anthony is reunited in peace with his parents, George Garrett Sr. and Charlene Garrett; his sisters, Juanita and Dawanda Farr; and his brother, Derrick Farr.

He leaves behind his Auntie/Mom, Deborah Farr, and his beloved partner, Kimberly Bristol.

He is also survived by his siblings: Eric (Katressa), George Jr., Tracey, Erica, Deandre, and Lashana; and a brotherhood of lifelong friends who were like family:

• Tyron "T-Tone" Gaines, Fred Eskridge, George Cornett, and Derrick Davis.

Anthony also leaves to cherish his memory a vast host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Final Salute

As Anthony takes his seat in the ultimate stadium, we celebrate a life lived with passion and heart. In his honor, we say one last time: "Go Blue" and "How 'Bout Them Cowboys
