Fondest memories from the class of 78.

Think of you everyday my friend. Being baptized as the last people in the old church on Donnelly, 5 more minutes on the football field our last practice, covering for me in the outfield because you were a star and I was not. OYou were a light in this world and I miss you every day.

I have great memories of serving with Tony in the Eustis Ward. I enjoyed listening to his lessons especially his personal experiences assisting patrons at the Temple. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hornsby family.

When Tony was in the room, there was a giggle in every heart. God bless you all in this time of grief. May memories of Tony's smile give you comfort and peace.

I will always remember him for his smile, always smiling or laughing, I pray that God will uplift his entire family in their time of mourning with His awesome peace, strength, and comfort

Im heartbroken at the loss of this light here on earth. I know he is shining in heaven! I was honored to teach primary with him and I always learned something watching him with the children. He always had a special light about him. My prayers and love go out to his beautiful family.

My thoughts and prayers goes out to Tony's family. Its never easy losing a loved one, especially through cancer. I know first hand. On or off the football field...Tony could put a smile on your face. He was a good schoolmate and friend. One of the first people I met when I transferred to Mt.Dora from overseas my sophomore year...Made me feel at home. I look back on so many memories of those days with him. How we partied and laughed. How he loved sports but most of all how Tony could touch someone and do anything to help them when They were down....They will be cherished forever. Goodbye friend, Your in a much better place now.

Tony was a bright light in the lives of many. May his legacy live on in the hearts of all those he touched. Asking God to surround the family with his love and a peace that passes all understanding. In Jesus name. Amen

My deepest condolences...

One great memory I have of Tony is when we were hanging out in Lk Gertrude and he shaved my head for football. RIP brother... you will be missed...!!

I remember serving with Brother Hornsby in primary. He had a wonderful countenance, and a great talent for teaching his primary students. I believe the Lord will use that talent even more now, on the other side of the veil.

Even though I didn't know Tony well, I've been privileged to share in the love this family feels for one another and others. God be with them as He always is.

May Tonys memory be eternal. An untimely loss for those left behind and Heavens gain.

I loved having Tony as a Sunday school teacher and how he would get to know each person. He was always smiling and always cracking jokes. I loved the way he bore his testimonies by telling stories of moments when he knew the Savior loved him or was mindful of him. I loved the way he talked about KC and the moment he first saw. He truly loved his family and cared deeply for his friends. Ive always looked up to Tony as an example of strength and kindness.

My most deepest condolences Amber to your sisters and your mom. It seems like just a short time ago you and Christina were having sleepovers together and to know that your family is going through this truly saddens me.

Our condolences to all the family at this sad time. I am thankful you have many found memories to cherish with Tony. Continued prayers.
