Anthony Long Obituary
On January 5th, 2025 Anthony J. Long passed away surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Denise Long, and his children, Scott Alan Myers (Sandy) of Edgewater, MD, Katie Lynn Ortiz (Gregorio) of Glen Burnie, MD and James Joseph Long (Amber) of Odenton, MD. He is also survived his brother, Tim Long of Chucky, TN. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents, Louis J. and Betty J. Long, his brother, Louis J. Long, III, his sister, Tina Long (Trice) and a son, Anthony J. Long, Jr.
Anthony graduated from DeMatha High School in 1977 and went on to work at Washington Terminal/Amtrak and retired after 41 years in 2019.
