Mr. Anthony Shaek Suey Mah

To Tony's family; our profound condolences on the unexpected passing of Tony, a neighbor for over 30 years. Were going to greatly miss those sidewalk chats that evolved around our shared experiences of living in our section of Duarte.

Dad,

I dont know where to begin other than to Thank You for everything. At an early age I remembered you worked two jobs to provide a better life for me. You gave me more than just the basics because you loved me and wanted whats best for me. I didnt understand how much you loved me until I grew up and realized the sacrifices you made for our family. You taught me to sacrifice, work hard, earn my way, and to love and respect everyone. You showed more with your actions about what a responsible father does. I only hope that I have made you proud. I apologize for not showing you how much you mean to me and how much I love you! Every person I had told of your passing said to me what a great person you were, how you were so nice and kind. I will celebrate your life by passing on your traditions on love, kindness, and respect. Im proud to be your son and even prouder to have called you my Dad!

Its hard to believe that my uncle is are longer here. The generous & kind man that he was is known by everyone he would come across. Im so lucky to call him my uncle. Uncle Tony, thank you for being you & giving me all my wonderful memories we shared. I will cherish them all. The footprint that you have left in us will forever be in our hearts. Rest In Peace with God until I see you again. Know that we will take care of all those you love & continue sharing memories of you. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten . I love you.

Uncle Tony, Bel Bahk, as I had known him by, had been there for me since the day I was born. As a matter of fact, he was actually the one who named me. One day I asked Bel Bahk, why did you name me Teresa? His answer was simple. Because there was a Mother Teresa, he said. I hope to make a positive impact on society, even if its just a little, the way that he believed I could. I will always be reminded of Bel Bahk every time someone calls my name. He was simple, but had character. He was resilient and kind. We will miss you, but you will always remain in our hearts and memories. We love you.

Words seem inadequate to express my sadness over my uncle's passing. Tears keep flowing down my face as I think of not being able to see him again. My uncle has chose a life of selflessness, generosity, humbleness, love and care for the family and my grandma. His dedication to each one of us and especially to my grandma is incomparable. For everything he has done for me and the entire family, I owe my beloved uncle my external love, gratefulness, the promise to always remember him and take care of those he loved. Uncle Tony, may God grant you peace and the well-deserved rest. I will always miss and love you.

Words cannot express the sadness for the loss of my best friend, Anthony. I am honored to know him for 58 years. We are true and close friends since the time of high school. I will always remember the special times Anthony and I spent together. I admire his caring and selfless nature. He was a very honest and fine person! He was so kind and eager to give the best help to me and my family whenever needed. Moreover, he treasured and up kept friendships with his old classmates and friends who lived locally and overseas.

Anthony " will be greatly missed but his warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all of us forever.

Tony and I were high school classmates when we were in HongKong,we separated during the late sixties and lost contact for a few decades; and one day, I received a phone call from him and saying he found my name from the internet. What Im trying to say here is that hes a person with hearts, always put friendship first. I can recall that he always called me first on every festival and asked about my mom, my siblings and my family, I was shock to hear that god took him so soon, so unexpected. Fairwell my friend, I know one day we shall meet again, may you Rest In Peace.
