Anthony V. Mannello, age 43, of Merchantville, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, after a brave six-year battle with Neuroendocrine Cancer.
Born in Philadelphia on June 15, 1982, to Antonio and Janet Mannello, Anthony grew up in Maple Shade before moving to Merchantville five years ago. He worked as a Bank Manager for Citizens Bank in Mt. Laurel.
Anthony loved playing cards, trips to the beach, and spending time with his loved ones. His greatest passion, however, was hockey. Through the Maple Shade Hockey Association, he dedicated countless hours to coaching, mentoring young players, and sharing his love for the game. Hockey was more than just a sport to him — it became a way of life and a source of pride, friendship, and community
Above all, Anthony’s heart belonged to his family. He was the beloved husband of 18 years to Amanda Mannello (née Shaw), and together they built a life full of love, laughter, and partnership. He was the proud and devoted father of Francesca, Luca, and Mila — his greatest joy and the center of his world. Anthony poured his heart into every moment with them, creating memories filled with warmth and love that will live on forever.
He was also the cherished son of Antonio and Janet Mannello (née Quintus); the caring brother of Christina Mannello, Andrew (Daneyelle) Mannello, and Ryan Mannello; and a loving son-in-law to Phil and Jackie Shaw. He shared a close bond with his brothers-in-law Matt (Dawn) Shaw and Chris (Melissa) Shaw. To his extended family and friends, Anthony was a constant source of love, loyalty, and support. Whether it was sharing a laugh, offering advice, or simply being present, he had a way of making everyone around him feel valued and cared for. He will be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends whose lives were brighter because of him.
