Anthony "Tony" Christopher Marra, 48 years old passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 at Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, IL. He was born September 30, 1974 in
Houston, TX to Peter Marra and the late Linda (nèe Harloff) Marra. He graduated from St. Rita Catholic High School in Chicago, IL. He was an avid Chicago sports fan and loved hockey, hunting, fishing and throwing bags, of course.
When it came to politics, Tony could debate with you all day if he could. He was quite the joker as well. He always had jokes to tell.
Even though he came off strong, high energy, and tough; he was a big softie. He was a secret animal lover and loved to sing (not well.) You could always find him walking around whistling and humming. He could quote movies religiously and was a great keeper of useless information. Tony went by many nicknames and personalities. Some may have called him T-Bone even Hockey Tony.
Although Tony was stubborn, loud, and a pushover, he was reliable, had great work ethic, and overall, had a big heart.
Tony is survived by his father, Peter Marra; his siblings, Andrew Marra and Jennifer (Brian) Bolton; his significant other, Deanne Dalgaard; his nephew, Jared Bolton; his niece, Paige Bolton; his stepdaughter, Rayna Fisher; and many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Marra.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Strang Funeral Home, 1055 Main St.,
