Irondequoit: Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at the age of 65. Predeceased by his father, Louis; and son, Sal Zito Jr. Tony is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Vera Mascaro; mother, Rita Mascaro; children, Anthony Montana, Rachael (Joseph Marcella) Montana-Loveless, and Christopher (Jennifer) Mascaro; daughter-in-law, Aimee Zito; grandchildren, Montana, Rae Ann, Salvatore, Tory, Ryley, Gianni & Jasper; brothers, Marc (Christine) and James (Shelane) Mascaro; brother-in-law, Bruce (Alice) Dolan; sister-in-law, Nancy Straub; many nieces and nephews.
Tony was a Master Electrician and Hockey Coach. He enjoyed restoring old cars and motorcycles. Tony will be remembered as a mentor and a person who was willing to teach a trade and give a second chance to those looking for a new start.
His family will receive friends Friday, June 3, 3-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.), where his funeral service will be held Saturday, June 4, 10:00 am. Interment Private.
