Jap was born on December 31, 1933 in Waterbury, CT to the late Anthony Membrino Sr. and Antoinette (Sacco) Membrino.
Jap was an electrician for 40 years. He was a well-known racecar driver that won championships and many races, and was inducted into the New England Auto Racing Hall of Fame in 2022.
