Following the BAFTA award ceremony, I would like to express my sadness at the loss of such a talented man. I love his films.

I sorry to hear about your lost and I would like to share with the family a comforting scripture at John11:25" Jesus said I am the resurrctionand the life he that exercises faith in me, even though he dies will come to life.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

He was a such a gifted artist that his death leaves a hole in this community. It is a loss that will be felt for many many years

Anthony touched a lot of hearts when he was here directing the No 1 Ladies Detective in Botswana. Such a humble sweet human being, So nice and accomodative and very talented and a true gentleman... it is with great sadness that i write to say, may he rest in peace and may Carolyn and their children receive our deepest sympathy. he will forever be in our hearts, those of us who worked with him for a very short time, feel he left a very huge mark in our lives.

Very sad news. Anthony Minghella has inspired many with his talent and shared his great humanity through the gift of his work. He will be dearly missed. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

My prayers go forth to Anthony and all who loved him, his genius.

His films are so very rich in detail and deeply perceptive into human nature. I am saddened by his loss.

I remember Anthony as a spiritual seeker visiting Quarr Abbey (Isle of Wight) where he and his family were dear friends. May the holy angels lead you to Paradise. Your life and work gave many a glimpse of eternity.

My heartfelt condolences to the family of Mr. Minghella. He was a very talented man and will be missed. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

If you haven't seen one of his earliest films, TRULY, MADLY, DEEPLY (1990), please do. It will comfort his fans to know, as I do, that although he may be gone, he will always be with us.

We had the pleasure of meeting Anthony when he was filming Cold Mountain in Charleston, SC. He quickly became part of our coffee shop "family," working on the script while hanging out with us each day. Amazingly talented, & yet such a nice, down to earh guy. Our deepest sympathy to his many friends & family.

Enjoyed his work. Rest in Peace Anthony.
