Anthony Paul "Tony" Ondriezek

1954 - 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony "Tony" Paul Ondriezek, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, who went to his eternal rest on Friday, November 7th, 2025, at the age of 71. Tony was a dedicated resident of Ellabell, GA, and was born on a warm summer day, Monday, July 19th, 1954, in Savannah, GA.



Tony was a devoted family man, cherished by his wife of 30 years, Missy Ondriezek, of Ellabell, GA. His love extended to his children, daughters Amber (Kyle) Oglesby and Kimberly Sullivan, and son Michael (Kim) Ondriezek, father, Jimmy Ondriezek. brother, Mark(Teresa) Ondriezek, grandchildren Michaela Ondriezek, Harper Oglesby, Allyson Pettit, and Wyatt Pettit.



Tony is reunited in peace with his dearly departed loved ones: his mother, Dorothy Ondriezek; brother, Keith Ondriezek; and grandson, Ryker Ondriezek.



Tony dedicated his career as an Inspector at JCB, bringing diligence and integrity to his work. He had an unwavering passion for softball, which saw him umpiring for 25 years and earning a place in the Hall of Fame of Umpires in Macon, GA. His commitment to the sport extended beyond personal accolades as he volunteered as an umpire for special needs softball, touching many lives with his generosity and spirit. One of his favorite festivals to participate in was The Flying Pig Festival in Pooler.



Visitation will be held at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel in Garden City, Georgia, on Monday, November 10th, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Tony are invited to pay their respects and celebrate his impactful life.



A funeral service to honor Tony's life will take place at Oak Hill Church in Millen, GA, on Tuesday, November 11th, 2025, at 11:00 am, officiated by Joshua Johnson.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Oglesby, Michael Ondriezek, Tommy Sullivan, Ricky Jeffcoat, Ricky "Dale" Jeffcoat, Thomas Myers, Austin Myers

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker McCullough Funeral Home-Garden City Chapel.



In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Tony's memory to a special needs softball charity of choice. His warm presence, generosity, and dedication to community and family will be dearly missed and long remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
