Tony is and will always remain a legend. I have to admit, when I again saw his photo that accompanied this Legacy site, he once again made me smile from ear-to-ear. He was a loveable, crazy and rugged individual with a heart of gold with his own brand of 'typical Tony' sense of humor. I miss his friendship and treasure the times that we spent together. Thanks Tony for being that special part of my life and the fun memories that you left me with, as well as all those other lives that you have touched along the way. Rest in Peace our Brother, your work here is done.

Tony is one of the greatest men I have ever known. I met him while working at water tower place. The world is a better place thanks to Tony! He will be missed!

Worked same watch with Tony in 018 during my time there 1969 to 1973. Rode together various times and took in many a 'hot' call during those terrible days in 018. Always felt safe with Tony as my partner or my assist. Tony was a good person, a great copper and absolutely fearless. My condolences to his family and I pray they find peace. A friend and brother in blue.

I´m so sorry to hear that Tony passed. Tony was my dad´s (Tom McHugh) partner at Dist 18 CPD for years. I last spoke to Tony around the time of my dad passing in 2014. Tony was such a kind man. My deepest condolences to Tony´s family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. RIP, Anthony Parisi

I had the privilege of partnering with Tony in the 18th District. His humor made our 8 hrs each day seem like minutes. Everyone knew Tony. He always had your back and a heart of Gold. We all know Tony as one of the toughest P.O. in the District. Rest in peace Brother!

Tony was one of Chicago's Finest and a great guy to hang out with. And when you look into the sky tonight you'll notice it a little brighter as a new star has been added to the heaven's above.

So sad to hear of the loss of a good man and friend. Normally, the tears that he left me with were that of joy and laughter. Now, I join his family and friends mourning his passing. Tony was a tough individual toiling many extra hours in the masonry trade as a tuck pointer and bricklayer. But he maintained his soft side when it came to his loving family and friends. To say that he had a sense of humor would be an understatement at best. His natural talent and ability to ad lib any situation into a comedic routine were classics. I'll always remember him for his good nature and dedication to family. Thank you my brother, for all the enjoyable times that we shared. You were truly that overall revered product as,
"Chicago's Finest." Rest in everlasting peace and keep em' laughing up there.
