Anthony Antonio Perkins was born on May 20th, 1974 in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of George Styles and Annie Elizabeth Perkins. He departed this earthly life on Friday, March 31st, 2023, at his residence in Hermitage, Tennessee.
Anthony affectionately called “Papoose” was educated in Metro Nashville Davidson County Public School Systems in Nashville, Tennessee.
Anthony confessed a hope in Christ Jesus at an early age. He loved to attend and visit churches, the one he loved most, was McNairy Hill U.P.B. Church, under the leadership of Elder John T. Gassaway.
Anthony loved sports, his favorite was Basketball. He loved people he always had a kind word when meeting and greeting people. Anthony could read his Bible, and he was good at quoting scriptures. He was always smiling, a very humble, sweet, and well-mannered person.
Anthony enjoyed reading, writing, and spending time with family and friends. To know him was to love him, he will be very well missed!!!
Anthony was preceded in death by his mother, Ms. Annie Perkins, adopted mother & father, Mr. Ed and Mary Perkins, aunt, Clara Laster, aunt, Norweeda Pullens, great uncle, Robert Perkins “Rob”, and uncle, Larry Eugene Pullens.
Anthony leaves to cherish his memories, brother, Julius Perkins; devoted partner, Ms. Gentry Runnels; children, Sylesha, Micha; aunts, Mrs. Theresa Brown, Deborah (Bretland) Langster, LaTonya Perkins, Kimberly Perkins, devoted aunt, Mother Dorothy Waddey; uncles, Bro. Gerry Pullens, Mr. James (Valerie) Perkins, Jr.; The House Family, The Westmoreland Family, Mr. Robert Johnson, Ms. Brady Wright, The Waters Family; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
