It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony "Tony" Prioli on March 7th 2026, from medical issues at the age of 45. Born on July 8th 1980 in Quincy, Massachusetts, Tony's life, although unexpectedly cut short, was a vibrant tapestry of love, laughter, and unyielding dedication to his family, friends and community.
Tony was the beloved son of Philip Prioli and the late Linda Prioli, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms into eternity. He was a cherished brother to his siblings: Paul Scott Prioli and his wife Donna of Weymouth, Phil Prioli Jr and wife Kristine of Quincy, Ralph Prioli of Weymouth, Daniel Prioli and wife Jessica of Holbrook, Regina Alisandratos and husband Kosta of Weymouth, Marco Prioli and fiancé Catherine of East Bridgewater, James Prioli and wife Grace of Whitman. Tony was also a fun-loving uncle to 13 nieces and nephews who were his pride and
joy, sharing with them his passion for NASCAR and the thrill of the automobile racing.
A proud graduate of Weymouth Vocational Technical High School in 1998, Tony further pursued his interest in technology and mechanics at the Wentworth Institute of Technology. His career as an auto mechanic and tow truck driver was marked by a steadfast commitment to serving several local, state, and federal law agencies. Tony's dedication to his work was mirrored by his devotion to ensuring the safety and well-being of those around him.
Tony's life was characterized by his ability to bring joy and comfort to others. Known for his infectious humor and ability to make anyone smile, he was the friend who would drop everything to lend a helping hand, Whether, it was a roadside rescue or a simple gesture of kindness, Tony's generous spirit left an indelible mark on everyone he met.
His passion for automobiles started at a young age, where he worked alongside his father at the family business "Prioli Brother's Towing" and extended beyond his profession, finding joy in the exhilaration of racing. He loved nothing more than sharing this enthusiasm with his nieces and nephews, creating cherished memories at their yearly NASCAR events that will be fondly remembered by all who attended.
Tony's sudden departure leaves a void in the hearts of his massive group of incredible friends and family members, who will forever cherish the laughter, warmth, and love he brought into their lives. Though he did not have children of his own, his legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the smiles he inspired.
In celebrating Tony's life we are reminded of the preciousness of each moment and the impact of a life lived with love and laughter. His memory will forever be a beacon of light and a reminder to always find joy in the simple things and to care deeply for one another. Rest in peace dear Tony. You will be missed more than words can express, but your spirit will continue to race alongside us, guiding us with your laughter and love.
