Anthony Francis Richey

Anthony Francis "Tony" Richey 43, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023. He was born November 13, 1980 in St. Joseph, MO, son of Regina "Gina" (Cortez) and Mark Richey. He graduated from Bishop LeBlond High School, class of 1998. In 2002, he graduated from Carroll College, Helena MT with a bachelors degree of science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. He had worked at Triumph Foods and Anderson Ford. He loves music and playing the guitar, spending time with his children, and he was a very hard worker. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Survivors include: his parents, children: Parker Richey, Bella Richey, Rose Richey, Emilia Richey, and Hazel Richey, other survivors include: Betsy Richey, granddaughter, Violet Richey, three brothers, Chris (Janey) Richey, Eric Richey, and Brian Richey, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 10:00 am at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Father Jonathan Davis Celebrant. The Rosary will be recited at 5:00 pm, Tuesday, and the the family will receive friends from 5:30 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
