Anthony Sabato Obituary

Anthony was born in Norwalk on June 22, 1932, to the late Nicholas and Francesca (Marino) Sabato.
As a lifelong resident of Norwalk, he was a master carpenter whose craftsmanship could be seen in homes and buildings across Fairfield County, leaving behind a legacy of skill, dedication, and pride in his work.
Anthony is survived by his children: Sheryl Sabato of Norwalk, Michael Sabato (Joy) of Norwalk, Gary Sabato (Doryann) of Trumbull, and Deborah Vayda (David) of Norwalk. He leaves behind 5 grandsons: Michael (Christine), Jake (Baouyen), Anthony, Nicholas, and Joey, and 4 great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Leo, Michael, and Thomas. Anthony also leaves behind one brother, Nicholas Sabato Jr.
In addition to his wife Charlotte, Anthony was predeceased by his parents and numerous cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 18, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk.
