Anthony J. "Bori" Santos, age 39, of Methuen, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, with his devoted wife and family by his side. Born in 1986 in Lawrence, he was the beloved son of Estanislao Santos and Angelique Rodriguez.
Anthony was the cherished husband of Jessica (Castillo) Santos, with whom he shared four years of marriage and fifteen years of deep, unwavering partnership. Together they built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and a love that anchored their family. He was the proud and loving father of Aiden Santos, Avan Santos, and Kirssiany Santos, his greatest joys and the center of his world.
He was the wonderful brother of Paul Fortier, Raymond Fortier, Angelique Santos, Ana Santos, Stiven Santos, Saul Santos, and Savier Santos, and he is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Bori was the life of every room he walked into. His sense of humor was unmatched, quick, sharp, and guaranteed to lift the spirits of anyone around him. He had a gift for bringing people together, and his presence turned ordinary moments into unforgettable ones. Thursday "guys nights" were sacred, a weekly ritual filled with laughter, stories, and the camaraderie he cherished.
A man of many passions, Bori enjoyed his whiskey and cigars, savoring the simple pleasures of good company and good conversation. He was a proud 49ers fan, cheering on his team with the same enthusiasm he brought to every part of his life. He loved music deeply, creating the soundtrack to countless celebrations and gatherings.
Above all, Bori loved his family. He was an incredibly active and devoted father, always present, always involved, always cheering his children on. He was an amazing husband, supportive, loving, outspoken when it mattered, and fiercely protective of the people he loved. His yearly trips to Puerto Rico were a cherished tradition, reconnecting him with his roots, his culture, and the island that held a special place in his heart.
Bori was also a grill master, known for turning backyard cookouts into full-blown events. His bold personality, his honesty, and his ability to make everyone feel welcome made him unforgettable.
Anthony leaves behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love. His spirit will live on in the music he played, the memories he created, and the family he adored beyond measure. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made will last a lifetime.
Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated the following morning, Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Mary The Assumption Parish, 300 Haverhill Street, Lawrence. Burial to follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
