Anthony Schnur Obituary
Tony was born to Anthony and Isabel, on 13th of October 1975 in Elyria, Ohio. Tony attended Elyria High School and went on to attend Cape Fear Community College, pursuing a degree in business marketing.
Tony's biggest passion in life was his children, his career, and his music. An avid guitar player, he spent countless hours perfecting his craft, creating covers and original music. Tony created music for his own personal interests and to compliment his work at Neebs Gaming.
When Tony wasn't playing guitar, he could be found coaching his kids at soccer, playing golf with his mom, dad and sister, gaming with his friends and colleagues, watching football with his neighbors or playing with his beloved dogs Bear and Indy. Tony was a staunch supporter of the Carolina Panthers and fundraising for Stand Up 2 Cancer.
Tony is survived by his children Natalie (17) and Haley (13), his sister Christina and his mother and father, Isabel and Anthony.

Once in a while I'll recall the impact that Tony's impact had on me as I grew into the man I am today. It will come seemingly out of nowhere. I watched Battlefield Friends and it was the first video my older brother ever showed me. Me and my brother bonded over Battlefield Friends while my parents were going through their divorce. The events split us all up but having something like this to share with my biggest hero at the time was great.

Thick, you will be forever missed. It broke my heart when I heard the news and it still gets to me now after all these months. Just started re-watching the old series (Ark, 7Days) and noticed something. Whenever you were interested in something, you always put your all into it. Whether that be convincing the lads that Ark was worth the play, the obvious effort you all put into the channel or even learning the life long skill of playing the guitar. Genuinely will miss you, and wish I got to meet you. People like you are 1 in a million. Rest in piece Wyvern King.

I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you thick44. Neebs gaming has always been my favorite gaming channel for years and it's never gonna be the same without u my friend. Even though we never met personally u had a great impact on my life, especially while my mom was fighting cancer alongside u. She also lost her battle in August. I hope u are at peace my friend. My condolences to the Schnur family for this loss. Tony was a great soul and now he's up with God himself telling him he's nobody and announcing himself as the king. He's off on his next adventure, it's just a shame we will all have to wait to see how it unfolds. I'll celebrate the time he was here helping all of us.

Tony was one of those people I always looked forward to meeting someday. I looked up to him because how how talented he was in acting, music, and gaming. I only knew Tony through Neebs Gaming and Neebscast, but came to care about him like a friend. His 'daring-do' and gusto, his 100% 'all-in' way of tackling challenges, and the thorough enjoyment he got out of doing...all the things... was inspirational and a source of enjoyment and fun for me. Tony was such a talent, but also struck me as a genuinely interesting, fun, and good guy. The loss to the world is great, but I imagine the loss to his family and friends is terrible. Tony was a man who still had a lot left to offer and enjoy, and that is the tragedy. However, as we cannot guarantee how long we will have anything in life, I can only say I am incredibly grateful I was able to enjoy who he was to the extent I could, and promise that your son, husband, brother, father will never be forgotten. This is a true hero a true idol. Someone who people never met and in many cases never seen his face and can have an impact to make you cry with this terrible news.
I know a thing or two about cancer. Not the illness but the loss. I lost my son in 2015 at 10 year old. We stayed up many hours watching Neebs Gaming. Throughout many hospital stays. That was the last time I cried. Today brought back so many memories. I weep again. It just not fair.

Back in 2010 during Doraleous and Associates Anthony and I became friends on Facebook. We would speak between different shows. He always had such confidence in his life about his career as an actor and voice actor. He spoke highly about the Neebs Cast he was so proud of it, Pitching Brent ideas about shows and how to make things entertaining for everyone. He helped me through losing friends on deployment to getting and losing my Service Dog. I would share my art with him, he got a kick out of it. His laughter was contagious. His focus was a bit everywhere but his purpose was in the right place. I miss you my friend, I miss your smile your laugh your ability to brighten any day. The world is poorer for losing you. Thick44, you were a huge part of my life ever since I discovered Neebs Gaming in about 2016 or 2017 or sometime around then. It wasn't 2015 cause I discovered them after my dad died. Which now with Thick having died from cancer, that is two people who were/are very important to me. Tony and my dad (Rod) who've been taken by cancer. My dad died of non-small cell squamous or so. Thick I pray that we'll meet someday in the promised land and go for a ride on a dinosaur or dragon. go fishing and do anything you enjoyed doing. My prayers go out to everyone else in the community, Neebs (Brent), Appsro (Jon), Simon (Bryan), Doraleous (Nate), His family, Bear, Indy, etc. Hopefully ark actually does immortalize him as they said they would. same with other games he played. Tony, 'Thick44', was one of a kind. My son and I started watching Neebs Gaming not long after I had been through my own battle with cancer, and grieving over both of my parents' passing. The laughter and fun we had watching those episodes were pure gold for us. Each character brings their own style and humor, but Thick44, always brought the extra! His music was awesome! I loved hearing him play. His looting was always the 'Thick Style.' Oh, and please, don't get 'Thick'd!'

I was never one for heroes... someone to look up to and aspire to be. Then enters Tony. In the few online interactions I had with him, he was the most genuine man I´d met and was always so encouraging. He has motivated me more than anything and anyone to be the best version of me I can be. I´m devastated, like most, at the loss of a one in a million hero. My deepest condolences to his family and closest friends. No words can describe how sorry we all are for your loss. We just hope you find some comfort in knowing how many lives Tony touched in the time he was here.

Although I never met Tony in person, he impacted my life with his drive and his fight to live. He will forever be Thick44, human man warrior and wyvern king to me. As a new mom I didn´t have the mental energy to play video games. I found Neebs gaming during that and these guys played for me. Thick and Simon arguing has always given me the biggest laughs. Thicks reckless bravery inspired me when i started playing again! Thank you to Thicks family for sharing him with us. He brought me smiles when i was overwhelmed. Love live the Wyvern King
