Anthony Slaughter

For a while, we served together in the Atlanta-North Georgia Conference of the AME Church, but after I was transferred to the Macon Georgia Conference, we lost contact. He was such a humble, yet spirit-filled man who preached with fervor. He had been on my mind lately, and I was planning to get back in touch with him through his relatives, but on the day of his celebration of life service, I found that I was too late.

Rest Well, Rev. Slaughter! Your battle is fought; your victory is won!

Sorry for the loss of a great man. When ever I had the chance to hear him speak the word of God it really Filled my spirit.
