Anthony Small Jr., 29, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at his home. He was born June 7, 1994, in Kokomo, IN to Anthony Small Sr. and Sue Ann Lawson. Anthony worked for the City of Owensboro. Anthony was a family man first, he enjoyed spending time hanging out with them for any occasion.
He enjoyed magnet fishing, camping, swimming, and playing with Lego cars with his son. Anthony was passionate about cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed working on cars, dirt track racing, and loved to do burnouts on or in anything that would spin the tires.
Anthony is survived by his wife, Amanda Light Small; children, Aiden, Adalynn, and Serenitty Small; his father, Anthony (Renee) Small Sr.; a brother, Austin Small; sisters, Leighan Small, Brittney (Danny) Caldwell, and Lora Rhamy; his mother, Sue Ann Lawson; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Mr. Small will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Billy Pfeiffer officiating. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 until 6 p.m. and also on Monday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
