Anthony "Tony" Vincent Szymanski, age 79 of Carnegie died peacefully in his sleep on June 29, 2025. Son of the late Anthony John and Elizabeth "Libby" Helen (Barkoci) Szymanski. Tony was the oldest of 8, had 9 nieces and nephews and several cousins. He is survived by his loving wife Cherylann "Shooby" (Lennartz) Szymanski of 28 years.

Tony was a veteran of the Vietnam War proudly serving his country in the US Air Force. After that he was an over the road truck driver for many years. When he quit that he drove the equipment truck for The River City Brass Band for several years and got to travel the country with them on their tours and really loved that. He next drove a van for Compeer through PLEA and would pick up people living in group homes and take them to the center in Oakland for a day of fun activities and lunch, until he retired driving. In between all that we found and fell in love with a dance called the Carolina Shag and have been members of the dance club The Steel City Boogie Club for 20 years where we met many wonderful people. He just loved to dance and did so until his health issues made him put away his dancing shoes. Tony will be missed and remembered by many people.
