Mr. Anthony Charles Talley, age 70, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee passed from this life, Sunday, February 9, 2025. Mr. Anthony was born January 26, 1955, in Buffalo, New York, to Talmadge Talley and Gilda Greice Talley. In addition to his parents, Mr. Talley was preceded in death by his siblings, Gene Talley, Gary Talley, and David Talley.
Anthony loved being outdoors. You could find him working on his flowers, gardening, and woodworking. He enjoyed spending time with his family and teaching them very valuable life lessons. He was a selfless and gentle dad to his amazing children. Anthony would always listen and offer advice to his children that would later shape his children to be leaders for their families. Mr. Talley could be found often sitting on the porch enjoying the sounds of nature and the laughter of his children and grandchildren. He was most importantly a believer in Christ. He instilled his love for Christ in his children as well.
Mr. Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Cheryl Talley of Chapel Hill, TN; his children, Conrad (Emily) Talley of Collingswood, NJ, Chad (Marie) Talley of Georgetown, TX, Tonya (Tim) Ruggles of South Bloomfield, OH, and Sarah (Jake) Holland of Bon Aqua, TN; 15 grandchildren, Isabel, Patrick, Cailyn, Evelyn, Ethan, Elyse, Evan, Oliver, Colton, Jaxson, Carter, Jeremy, Billy Jr., River, and Paisely; brothers, Vincent Talley and Richard Talley.
Visitation with the Talley family will be 12PM to 1PM, Friday, February 14, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Tennessee. A memorial service will be conducted at 1PM on Friday, February 14, 2025 in the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home.
