Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours on Sunday, January 11th from 2:00 p.m. to to 5:00 p.m. in the Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals, 262 Beach St., Revere for Anthony S. Vozella, who died unexpectedly in his home in Saugus. He was 44 years old. A Funeral Service will be conducted in the funeral home at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately.
Anthony was born in Malden on October 5, 1981, to his parents, Anthony "Sonny" and Nancy Vozella. He was one of three children, raised in Chelsea. He attended Our Lady of the Assumption Parochial School in Chelsea and then later he attended Pope John XXXIII High School, Class of 1999. Anthony was multitalented and had many passions in life. He began working as an apprentice electrician with his father and grandfather in their electrical business, Anthony Vozella Electrical Contractors in Cheslea. Anthony also earned an associate's degree in Communication from the New England Institute of Art & Communication. Anthony worked as an EMT for several years, providing a service helping people in dire times. He also worked as a 911 call dispatcher. Most recently, he was working as a machinist for Prattville Machine and Tool for that past several years. Anthony's greatest passion undoubtedly was music. He loved music and he enjoyed being a drummer in his band "Last Born". Anthony also enjoyed making videos using his creativity allowing people to enjoy them. Most importantly to Anthony was his family. He treasured being around his parents, his siters, his niece, his aunts and uncles, and all of his cousins. Anthony will always be remembered and loved.
He is the beloved son of Anthony F. "Sonny" and Nancy J. (Botta) Vozella of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Chelsea and Saugus. Loving brother of Jamie B. Vozella and her fiancé Joseph Greene of Salem, New Hampshire, and Stephanie Vozella and her fiancé Tim Walsh of Chelsea. He is the cherished uncle of Caylee Hickman of Salem, New Hampshire. He is also lovingly survived by several aunts, uncles and many cousins and friends.
