* Due to recent storm damage, the Mass of Christian Burial has been changed St. Maurice Church on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Of Monroeville, formerly of Swissvale and Rankin, age 88, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
Born the daughter of the late Alfeo Rossetti and the late Vittoria (Palmieri) Rossetti.
Beloved wife of the late Quirino Melocchi.
Loving mother of Wanda Melocchi of Monroeville and Frank (Susan) Melocchi of Wilkins Twp.
Cherished grandmother of Nichole and Lucie.
Adored sister of Joanne (the late Nick) DiClaudio, Calvin (Tina) Rossetti, and Susan Emerick. Preceded in death by her brother, Timothy (surviving spouse, Suzanne) Rossetti, and her sister, Mary Rossetti.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Toni was proud to have been born in Lettopalena, Italy, and immigrated to the United States alongside her family in 1955. She worked for many years as a seamstress for various dry cleaning businesses around the Monroeville area. Toni was well known for her cooking and baking talents. Her brownies were known as a favorite sweet treat by her entire family. Toni treasured her faith and made it the cornerstone of her life. She was a devout Catholic and longtime member of St. Colman Church in Turtle Creek. Most of all, Toni treasured the time spent with her family.
Friends are welcome on Friday from 2-8 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Maurce Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
Toni will be laid to rest in Good Shepherd Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their most sincere thanks to the staff of AHN Hospice and Comfort Keepers, especially Kathleen Berger, for the exceptional care they provided to Toni over the years.
