Linda K. Van Scotter
August 30, 2025
Cookie was the sister of my high school boyfriend, but she and her family were more like my second family for the past 54 years. Since I was 14 years old, I was enveloped into the loving selestow clan. I spent many fun times with cookie and her sister Andrea, whether in Chicago or when they would come visit me at Valparaiso University. I was with her on a ship when she first met her husband Vjeko!
She was a love and I miss her. I know her untimely passing is a real jolt for her siblings and children. My heart goes out to you, Alka and Zane. Such a bright light. May we learn to live like she did with unbridled love and joy.
Happy Ascension, Cookie.
Love, Linda Van Scotter and the Entire Van Scotter Family
