Antonia Luna Obituary
Antonia (Barco) Luna passed away at her home in Groesbeck, on Monday, January 12, 2026, at age 94.
A Rosary will be recited by Deacon Daniel Ramirez at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel, with Visitation beginning prior at 6:00 and ending at 8:00 p.m.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mexia, with Father Moses Iyogwoya. Burial will follow in Faulkenberry Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Valentin R. Luna, Valentin Luna, Isaiah Hayes, Alexx Ponce, Tomas Ponce and Miranda Ponce.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ana Calvillo, Juana Luna Barco and Raul Luna.
Antonia was born on June 5, 1931, in Los Barcos, GTO, Mexico, to Felipe Barco and Fernanda Calvillo.
Antonia moved to Groesbeck over forty years ago. Her pride and joy were her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and the great-great grandchild, and she loved the company of each and every one. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Mexia
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Guillermo Luna in 2017 and two sons, Rosario Luna and J. Guadalupe Luna.
She is survived by her daughter, Juana Luna Barco; son, Raul Luna; daughter, Ana Calvillo; and son, Valentin Luna, all of Groesbeck; and 20 plus grandchildren; 30 plus great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
