Antonia (Toni) Sellis-Vastis, age 51, of Munster, passed away peacefully into eternal life with her beloved husband: Nicholas S. Vastis, of 16 years, and loving family at her side.
She is also survived by her parents: Peter D. and Andrea Sellis; loving sister: Mimi (John) Moss; adoring niece and nephew: Leah and Lucas; brothers-in-law: John and Bill Vastis; and sister-in-law: Jamie (Bruce) Theys. She will be remembered by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; both here and IN Greece, with many traveling from afar to attend the funeral.
Toni was a magnificent woman whose incredible spirit and grace were matched only by her generosity, strength, and determination. She has an inspiring ability to overcome adversity. When confronted with her life altering injuries through out her life; she fought the good fight with optimism and never ceased to maintain a positive outlook. She was always surrounded and supported by he Koumbara and many loyal friends. For those who were fortunate enough to know her beautiful soul, she will be profoundly missed. May her memory remain a part of everyone it has touched.
Visitation with the family will be on Friday February 9, 2024 from 3-7pm at Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave.
Munster, IN. A funeral service will be held on Saturday February 10, 2024 at 10am at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 7021 Hohman Ave. Hammond, IN with Fr. David Bissias officiating. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
