Antonina "Ann" R. Kievit (née Marano), age 73, of Hardyston and formerly of Lodi, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025.
Born to the late Fortuna and Anthony J. Marano, Sr., Antonina was a dedicated community leader, having served as the former executive director of the Sussex County Republican Party. An avid Second Amendment supporter and a huge supporter of President Trump, she championed conservative values with passion and conviction. A devout Catholic, she lived her faith through acts of kindness and service to others. She was also a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan, rarely missing a game and cheering her team with unwavering enthusiasm.
Antonina's greatest joy came from her family. She is survived by her dear brother, Michael Marano; her devoted children, Edward Hart and his wife Cynthia, and Kelly Ann Hart; her cherished grandchildren, Morgan Hart-Culleny, Mackenzie Hart-Culleny, Matthew Hart-McGrath, Anthony Hart, and Tommy Scerbo; her loving nieces and nephew, Tina Marie Fox, Michelle Marano, Sean Marano-Connelly, and Melissa Marano-Connelly Wagher; and her many cousins. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth Kievit; her siblings, Rose Fox and Anthony Marano; her nephew Anthony Marano; and her parents.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Sunday, November 2, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Di Chiara Funeral Home, 300 Main St., Lodi.
