Antonino Pietro Falica

Lafayette - Antonino Pietro Falica, age 85, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Newton Medical Center. Born one of nine children in Caccamo, Sicily to the late Salvatore and Maria (Barone) Falica, he came to the United States on October 28, 1967 and lived in Morristown and moved to Wantage in 1977, where he resided for over 40 years, until moving to Lafayette in 2020. Mr. Falica was a very hard working man and worked in the landscaping business and had been employed by PSE&G in Summit before he retired 28 years ago. He loved spending time outdoors; especially hunting. Family meant everything to him, and he found his greatest joy in spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Falica was a member of St. Monica R.C. Church in Sussex. He is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Concetta (Ciaccio); his three daughters, Maria Pisciotto and her husband John of Wantage, Francesca DiMartino and her husband Vincenzo of Ogdensburg, and Giovanna Falica and her husband Frank Lacatena of Lafayette; his sister, Concetta Falica of Italy; his eight grandchildren, Antonino and his wife Victoria, Salvatore, Gabriella, Filippo, Isabella, Giuseppe, Concetta, and Martina; and his four great grandchildren, Bonnie, Antonino, Valentina, and Giovanni. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at St. Monica R.C. Church, 33 Unionville Avenue, Sussex.
