Antonio Joseph Lacroix

Brunswick - Antonio "Tony" J. Lacroix Jr, 63, of Topsham, Maine, passed away after a long battle with cancer on July 24th, 2025, surrounded by family and friends.

Tony was born on January 2, 1962, in Plattsburgh NY, to Myrtle and Antonio Lacroix. After graduating from Brunswick High School, he went on to proudly serve six years in the U.S. Air Force, three of which were enjoyably spent in Alaska.

After serving his country, Tony worked at Bath Iron Works for a spell before dedicating 30+ years to Energy Machinery, where he played an essential role behind the scenes as an industrial air compressor technician and salesman, helping to keep our hospitals, factories, and businesses functioning at their peak. He was also a caring landlord, providing welcoming homes to kind folks for over 28 years.

He had a passion for spending time outdoors with friends, and was an accomplished black belt who maintained a dojo of dedicated students. As a very generous jack of all trades, he always had a solution to a problem, project or question, and would be there the moment he was called for help.

Tony is survived by his wife of 13 years, Doreen; his parents Myrtle and Antonio, his sons Joey and Brycent, his sister Annette and brother Andy, his Aunt Joyce and Uncle Carl Billado, as well as grandchildren Jase, Jax and Luke, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of Tony's life will be held on Aug. 4th, at 11am at Demers-Desmond Funeral Home in Brunswick. All who knew Tony are welcome to attend.
