Antonio Sodic Salas, left this world peacefully on January 26, 2026 at the age of 26, surrounded by his Family, After his Brave Courageous lifelong throwdown, Battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. A disease that in time progresses to muscle weakness leaving many with inability to walk and other health issues Despite Antonio's physical challenges and limits imposed by his condition, Antonio would live life 100% with his awesome sharp Sense of Humor and Charismatic personality. Antonio lived life to the fullest He graduated in 2018 Antonio always had a smile on his face anyone that would meet Antonio would instantly Love him. No matter what curve ball life would throw at him, he would catch the ball and determined to fight back against any obstacle life would throw at him.
Antonio loved music he especially loved his Tejano music, At the age of 9 Antonio wanted to play the drums with encouragement from His Grandpa Antonio Salas also being a talented musician, He would buy Antonio his first set of drums Sadly he lost his Grandpa in 2010 at the same time Antonio lost ability to walk It was a little set back. But with Antonio's determination and Passion for music Antonio moved forward putting Antonio on the path to mastering the drums he taught himself to play the drums. At the of age 14 with a lot determination, he would record his first cd in 2014 Antonio wasn't just talented he was also a blessing and an example of never letting a disability bring you down always remember you have the ability to do more than your disability allows you to do. Antonio also had another talent he worked his way to become a graphic designer, Antonio always enjoyed making family invitations, slide shows and share ideas on any special occasion. Antonio was the best example of never giving up and always follow your dream regardless of what disability a person has.
Antonio never let his diagnosis define who he is, he spent his energy living life to the fullest he will be deeply missed but always be remembered as a strong man who never backed down. He showed us about strength, Love, Laughter and determination António's Legacy will be the "Love he gave and the way he taught us to live life to the Fullest" - Antonio is a beautiful soul who will forever hold a special place in all that knew him especially his Mother/ caregiver who says they were a team and she learned the meaning of True love and strength Antonio Truly is A blessing from God she is very proud to be his Momma and be his hands and legs through this journey of life, Antonio is a true fighter strong leader and example of what true determination is He fought every obstacle in life and truly believed in these words " I focus on achievements and not my limitations" he will truly be missed Antonio your love and compassion will live in our Hearts Forever.
Antonio is survived by his dad Lorne and his mom Lala, his older sister Nicky and baby sister Ruby, Grandma Lupe, 2 Uncles Tony Jr and Eddie Salas and his wife Lucy, his Aunt Lupita and Grandpa John and 2 cousins Adam and Loni. Rest easy my Beautiful Son, I still hear you voice and I will see you soon. (Isaiah 26:19 Your dead will Live, My Corpses will rise up Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, and the earth will let those powerless in death come to life)
