It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Antonio D. Trevino, who departed this world peacefully on May 10, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on January 20, 1948, in Cotulla, Texas to his parents, Onofre and Sarah De La Paz Fuentes. He married Jesusa Luna in 1969. Antonio was known for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family.
Public viewing will be Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 10:00 am to 7:00 pm at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur St and again on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 10:00 am until 12 pm. The funeral service will be Friday, May 16, 2025, at 2:00 pm, also at Angel Funeral Home. Rev. Greg Corona will officiate. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Antonio was a man who never met a stranger. His warm demeanor, love for conversation, and his sense of humor brightened the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Although, there are times he could be quite stubborn.
Throughout his years, Antonio was a source of strength and guidance for his children. He instilled in them the principles of hard work, accountability, and respect, shaping them into the independent and responsible adults they are today. He was known for his strict yet fair approach and believed that a promise made was a promise to be honored. His legacy of love and integrity will live on.
He was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Bennie Trevino, Joe Trevino, and Onofre Miguel Trevino; and his wife, Jesusa Luna Trevino.
Antonio is survived by his children, Antonio Trevino Jr. and wife Anita Trevino, Rosalina Trevino, and Daniel Trevino; sisters, Mary Helen Flores, Oralia Rubalcaba, Mary Alice Cantu, JoAnn Aguirre, and Maria Perez; brothers, Juan Trevino, Onofre Trevino Jr.; his grandchildren, Karleigh, Adrianna, Alexxus, Malaysia, Deliah, Abel, and Tony; great-grandchildren, Noah and Steven.
